Also referred to as an apex, the spigot is the outlet at the apex end of the cyclone. Commonly it is a simple short cylindrical part, the internal diameter of which is varied to suit the performance required.

What is the advantage of PU Spigots Housing?

PU Spigots Housing is used on bottom of Warman Hydrocyclones where wear is greatest. The liners are molded from application specific formulated PU elastomers. Different wear resistant materials suit different wear environments, though polyurethane/PU has proven to be the most wear resistance material.

Economical grade Polyurethane can give 5 to 6 times service life of PU Spigots Housing than rubber while high grade one can give ten times.
